John Healey MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, responding to today’s diagnostic figures showing that the number of people waiting for diagnostic tests have again risen year-on-year under the Tory-led Government, said:
"This is yet more evidence that the number of patients suffering long waiting times for tests for cancer and other serious conditions is continuing to rise under David Cameron. Worryingly, the number of people still waiting at 13 weeks is up by six times what it was a year ago.
"David Cameron is out of touch and in denial about the impact of his reckless NHS reorganisation on patient services. This is further proof that you can’t trust the Tories with our NHS."
