Simon Danczuk, Labour MP for Rochdale, commenting on claims that Conservative Party Chairman, Lord Feldman, laughed off claims that major Conservative donor, Bill Ives, was harassing his ex-wife, said:

"Allegations of harassment are no laughing matter. If Lord Feldman was warned that a major Tory donor was stalking his ex-wife, he should have passed these warnings on to the authorities - not joked about them.

"The Tories should conduct a full investigation into what they were told, how they acted and whether it was appropriate to continue to take money from Bill Ives when his ex-wife was warning them of her fears about him."
