Bill Esterson, Labour MP for Sefton Central, said:
“David Cameron is running scared of running the country.
“He came in promising transparency but it is more than a year since he held a full Prime Minister's press conference in No. 10, he is increasingly absent from Prime Minister's Questions and half the Cabinet seems to be abroad. Halfway through the Parliament, it's clear Cameron is breaking his promises, standing up for the wrong people and taking Britain in the wrong direction.
“It is no surprise he is out of touch if he is very rarely in the country. Even when he's out of the country, Labour will hold him to account for his failures and broken promises.”<div>
