Michael Dugher MP, Labour’s Vice-Chair, commenting on today’s Electoral Commission figures which reveal that donors who attended private lunches, dinners and parties at No.10 and Chequers gave over £850,000 to the Conservatives between July to September 2012, said:

“The Tories are still raking in cash in return for dinners with David Cameron - £850,000 in the last quarter alone. A third of the Tories' money comes from just ten millionaires who dined at No.10 and Chequers - and then millionaires got a tax cut in George Osborne's Budget.

“You can't be a One Nation Government when you give a tax cut to your millionaire donors while millions are paying more.”
