Andrew Gwynne MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Minister, commenting on reports on controversy over David Cameron’s new health advisor, said:
"David Cameron has appointed an NHS advisor who clearly has little belief in it. He wants to cuts its budget, sack the staff and charge the patients.
"The Prime Minister has now brought him into the heart of Government - showing a disregard for NHS patients and staff.
"A&Es are in chaos and thousands of nursing jobs have already been axed. This appointment is yet more proof that the NHS is not safe in Tory hands."<div>
